BVI’s professional Canadian immigration services are provided under the responsibility of Juan Diego Bullard, RCIC-IRB, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with more than 15 years of legal experience spanning Peru and Canada.
His Canadian professional training includes the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University and an LLM in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. His professional development also includes specialized training delivered by the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada relating to the work of the Refugee Protection Division, including credibility assessment, evidentiary analysis, risk assessment, hearings and decision writing.
His broader legal and academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Business Law from Universidad de Navarra in Spain, a law degree from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in Peru, where he graduated with honours, and ten years of experience as a university law professor.
This background informs BVI’s approach to refugee, humanitarian and existing-file matters: understand the procedural position, review the actual record, identify the issues that materially affect the situation and explain the relevant considerations clearly.
BVI currently concentrates its professional work on selected refugee protection, refugee claim eligibility, BOC and evidence, refugee hearing preparation, refused or ineligible claims, PRRA, CBSA and removal-stage matters, Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, second opinions and professional file review.
Each immigration or refugee matter depends on its own facts, documents and procedural history.
Professional experience and training do not guarantee any particular immigration outcome.
The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants maintains a Public Register that members of the public can use to verify the current status of a regulated Canadian immigration consultant.
